The standard has been formally implemented since July 1, 2006, and is mainly used to regulate the materials and process standards of electronic and electrical products, making it more conducive to human health and environmental protection. The purpose of this standard is to eliminate lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in electrical and electronic products (Note: the correct Chinese name of PBDE refers to polybrominated diphenyl ethers, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers are wrong statements ) A total of 6 substances, and stipulated that the lead content should not exceed 0.1%.
RoHS 2.0 is actually a revised version of the RoHS Directive, commonly known as RoHS2.0, and the new RoHS is the 2011/65/EU Directive. As part of the CE certification, RoHS2.0 certification (CE-RoHS certification) is required to directly enter European products.
